Tom The Suit Forst

American Bluesman and Blues-Rock Journeyman, Guitarist and Songwriter Tom The Suit Forst is one of the most riveting and electrifying performers on the modern blues scene.

A guitarist, whose style has been called a cross between Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and Joe Walsh, Tom Forst’s debut solo album “On Fire” was produced by Grammy-winning guitarist Paul Nelson of the Johnny Winter Band. A tireless performer who just completed his first tour of China. Tom was also inducted into the New York and Connecticut Blues Hall of Fame in 2018. This year will see a new Tom The Suit Forst EP that he is recording at Factory Underground Studio in Norwalk, CT, featuring bassist Dave Stoltz of the Dickie Betts Band, and drummer Big Thursty. Then he will set his sights on Europe, and a second trip to Asia. At 67 years of age, Tom The Suit Forst is unstoppable.

Amidst his constant touring over the past two years, releasing several videos, writing songs for his upcoming EP, The Suit has launched a successful podcast called “Chasing the Blues.” The weekly podcast is a chance for Tom The Suit Forst to share stories and legends of the blues pioneers, the founding fathers of this music that he loves who are the roots of his own playing style. He also features other hot blues artists who are all helping keep blues alive for future generations, including Christine Ohlman, Paul Nelson, Anthony Gomes, Mike Zito, Ally Venable, and more!
